What this chapter calls “the evil of the gangster organization” is not a pejorative label but a verifiable organizational mechanism: toward the outside world it keeps no faith, its promises shifting with the needs of seizing and holding power; toward the public good it has no righteousness, subordinating the interests of the state, the nation, and the people entirely to the interests of the organization; in its methods it is cunning, adept at clandestine operations, deceptive propaganda, united front work, and infiltration and division; toward its own members and its enemies it is ferocious, holding the gang together through gang rules and house law, loyalty pledges, absolute obedience, purges, and violence. The Leninist party fuses this gangster logic with tight organization, the military and police, the judiciary, and state resources, so that the ferocious and the vicious rise more easily while the upright are weeded out by adverse selection — the evil party thereby becomes a manifold magnification of the evil of evil men, and individual crime is organized into the evil of the Party-state machine. CONCRETE ENTRY POINT. Secret meetings, double identities, the blood pledge, organizational vetting, internal purges, and “the subordinate obeys the superior” wire an individual’s fear and private greed into an organizational machine that rewards obedience and weeds out the upright. SCOPE AND CLASSIFICATION BOUNDARY. This chapter studies the organizational mechanisms of “gangsterization,” rather than substituting a single pejorative for evidence. The alleged faithlessness, breach of trust, cunning, and ferocity must each be supported, respectively, by verifiable facts — the betrayal of promises, the sacrifice of the public interest, covert infiltration and deception, internal purges, and outward repression; responsibility must be pinned along the chains of organization, command, and execution
Rule-of-law boundary: peaceful, rational, non-violent; civilian protection, democratic mandate, and necessary international oversight. "Elimination" refers to research on institutional, lawful paths only.
