This section: 4 items. Expand item → package; each package holds five fixed folders.

SECTION FOCUS
This section restores the abstract “evil of evil men” to everyday scenes that can be seen, heard, and felt, preserving the expressions, language, rituals, and living privileges of the powerful and their stark contrast with the circumstances of their victims. Only when theory reaches concrete lives and real scenes does it acquire the power to explain and to be transmitted. 1-6-1

What this chapter calls “the evil of false doctrine” refers to how Marxist-Leninist Communism and the CCP’s party culture arm the minds and the language of evil men. Taking the false paradise of “utopia—communism” as a lofty ideal and violent killing as its means, it makes private appetite and savagery behave as if “possessed by an evil spirit”: it lures people into surrendering their real freedom and property with the promise of a communist paradise, abolishes doubt by invoking historical inevitability, manufactures enemies who may be persecuted and eliminated through class struggle, and, in the name of “the people, democracy, the rule of law, and stability,” carries out their opposite. False doctrine leads evil men to regard greed, deception, and violence no longer as crimes but to construe them as revolutionary mission, organizational loyalty, and historical justice; at the same time it remakes the language, memory, and conscience of ordinary people, so that victims can scarcely speak the truth and perpetrators are able to escape guilt. CONCRETE ENTRY POINT. On the one hand it promises a future free of oppression; on the other it demands that people surrender their property, their thoughts, and their doubts; a single slogan enters textbooks, broadcasts, the arts, and self-criticism confessions, and in the end alters people’s language, memory, and conscience. SCOPE AND CLASSIFICATION BOUNDARY. This chapter studies the theoretical texts, propagandistic language, methods of indoctrination, and spiritual consequences of false doctrine. To criticize an idea is not to prohibit thought; one must distinguish the original theoretical text, the official interpretation, the actual policy, and the consequences for victims, and must show how a given notion grants license for deception, dispossession, violence, and dictatorship
Rule-of-law boundary: peaceful, rational, non-violent; civilian protection, democratic mandate, and necessary international oversight. "Elimination" refers to research on institutional, lawful paths only.
